The Experienced Pace Bowling Machine Umar Gul has been appointed as the Bowling Consultant and Coach of Afghanistan National Team:

Former Pakistan fast bowler Umar Gul has been appointed as the Bowling Consultant of Afghanistan National Team. Umar Gul will be providing his services as the Consultant for a 20 day camp set up by the Afghanistan Cricket Board in Dubai.

Umar Gul is a renowned yorker specialist of Pakistan. During his playing days he was one of the prime fast bowlers of Pakistan. He took 427 international wickets for Pakistan. He is also a former No.1 ranked T20I bowler.

As far as the coaching career of Umar Gul is concerned, he holds vital experience as a coach. He has delivered his services in many renowned T20 Leagues. Quetta Gladiators had Umar Gul as their bowling coach in PSL. Galle Gladiators hired Umar Gul as their bowling coach in the Lanka Premier League. Similarly Gul has coached in Pakistan’s domestic structure as well as in the Kashmir Premier League.

Players have also responded positively regarding Umar Gul’s coaching. Recently during PSL, Naseem Shah credited Umar Gul for his success. International Cricketers Association (ICA) is proud on Umar Gul getting this opportunity.
