ICA’s Kashif Ali signs Contract Extension with Worcestershire until 2027: The International Cricketers Association proudly announces that Kashif Ali, the consistent middle-order batter has signed a contract extension with Worcestershire County Cricket Club. He will remain with Worcestershire till the end of 2027.
Kashif Ali joined Worcestershire back in 2022 and has been an integral member of the squad. He has been a prolific red-ball and white-ball performer for Worcestershire. In County Championship 2023, Kashif Ali’s highlight was his tremendous innings of 93 against Yorkshire. In Metro Bank One Day Cup 2023, Kashif piled up over 350 runs at an average of 50.42 with 3 half-centuries in the event.
Kashif Ali expressed his delight and thankfulness to Worcestershire, especially for giving him a chance in First Class Cricket. Worcestershire’s CEO Ashley Giles also expressed his delight by saying: “Kashif has taken his chance with both hands and some of his knocks, particularly the one at Derby in the One Day Cup, are great to watch and really excite spectators.”
Chairman of the ICA Moghees Sheikh also congratulated Kashif Ali for the contract extension and gave full credit to Kashif’s hard work for his success with Worcestershire. Moghees Sheikh also stated that “it is an honor for ICA that Kashif Ali is associated with our Management Team. The Chairman of the ICA gave him best wishes for the upcoming English County Season.”
