ICA Stars Play Key Role in Knight Riders’ Title Win in Houston Open 2022:
Houston Open 2022 concluded with Knight Riders winning the event. Multiple Players associated with the ICA participated in the event, and 5 of them ended up winning the trophy.
Knight Riders’ incredible win was never possible without the contributions of some of the ICA Players. Matthew Forde participated in 6 games for the Knight Riders and took 14 wickets at an average of just 11.00. He was declared the best bowler of the tournament. Without his contribution, Knight Riders couldn’t have won the event.
Some more major contributors were Ali Shafiq and Derval Green. Ali picked up 9 wickets in 6 games. His economy rate was the highlight as he bowled with an economy rate of 5.47. He was the 2nd highest wicket taker for the Knight Riders. Derval Green was the man of big stage. He was the player of the final match of Houston Open 2022.
Neil Broom was the backbone of the batting lineup of Knight Riders. He scored 199 runs in 6 matches at an average of 33.17. His 160 strike rate was icing on the cake. Neil Broom ended the event as the top run getter of Knight Riders. Joshua Bishop was another key contributor with the ball picking up 7 wickets in 6 games at an economy rate of just 6.
