3 ICA players to watch for in Pak vs NZ Series
Pak vs NZ: Pakistan’s home series versus New Zealand is just around the corner as the guests, after their arrival, are on the verges of training and practising at the venues destined for the three-match ODI, five-match T20I series.
Beginning from 17th September, the Kiwis and the men in green will encounter the 50-over contest in the Rawalpindi stadium. In contrast, the 20-over rivalries are catalogued for Gadaffi Stadium, Lahore, from 25th September. You can check the schedule here.
Both teams have announced their squads, and the same crew will undergo the upcoming mega-event, the ICC T20 World Cup 2021. Out of the squads contestants have announced, here are the International Cricketers Association (ICA) players to watch out for in Pak vs NZ series.
Faheem Ashraf:
Faheem Ashraf began his career with glimpses of fast bowling but induced batting with time to be one of the finest but underrated all-rounders. Although his form suffered in the midst of his career but green shirts’ experienced coaches at domestic circuits trained him from scratch to help regain his form.
The tailender, the seam bowling all-rounders, is one of those cricketers that South Asian countries hunt for. He has 218 and 259 runs in 31 ODIs, 42 T20Is, respectively, alongside 23 and 35 wickets. He enjoys a terrific domestic career as well.
His fantastic stats, which we can also pull out from his domestic career, can make him one of the ICA players to watch for in the Pak vs NZ series.

Iftikhar Ahmed:
The renowned middle-order batter from Pakistan, Iftikhar Ahmed, has pretty sound stats to inspire the watchers. He has 114 and 212 runs respectively in 7 ODIs, and 13 T20Is.
He can consider himself unlucky to get a few limited-overs encounters for Pakistan but has a blazing domestic career with 4058, 3725, and 2433 runs in 66, 93, and 130 first-class, list-A, and T20 cricket.
His wonderful stats can make him one of the ICA players to watch for in the Pak vs NZ series – the fans endeavour to see him tackling Pakistan’s mid-order issues.
Hamish Bennett:
The right-arm medium fast-bowler, Hamish Bennett, who was gliding to get another chance to don Kiwi jersey in limited-over cricket, is ready to bloom once again as he has been named in the squad versus Pakistan’s home series.
Bennett, who made his first-ever appearance for New Zealand in 2010, has gathered 33, 10 wickets in 19 and 11 ODIs respectively. Despite having a truncated international career, he has inspired the lookouts.
Moreover, Bennett, who is currently in the men in green’s realm for practising and training sessions ahead of the Pak vs NZ series, had a series of injuries after the 2011 World Cup making him unfortunate to play for New Zealand as he anticipated. However, he has a fine list-A, first-class career.
He can be one of the ICA players to watch for in the Pak vs NZ series due to his tremendous bowling style full of pace.
