George Munsey joins the ICA
The International Cricket Association is excited to announce the addition of George Munsey, Scotland international cricketer, to its register of exciting players.
The left-handed Munsey, 25, was one of Scotland’s heroes when they beat England in a 50-over international in Edinburgh earlier this season. Coming in at five, Munsey made 55 at better than a run-a-ball, helping his team to a mammoth total of 371 for five.
He has also sparkled as a dependable opener in T20 cricket where he has passed 40 in each of his last four internationals against Ireland and the Netherlands. His T20 strike-rate is a stupendous 146.55.
Currently, he is playing for Hampshire 2nds hoping to add to the four first-class matches he played for Scotland during a career which, so far, has been dominated by white ball cricket. We wish him well.
